Little switch up in my program at UBC from Kinesiology into Business, I now work in Commercial Real Estate and Fitness. Up until second year University I still wanted to do this. This then evolved into aspirations to be a Dentist. What would I consider to be my talent? Commitment to being a lifelong athlete, and encouraging others to do so as well.Ī train engineer! Thomas the Tank Engine was my jam. After an injury that ended my career in sport, I made myself a commitment to continue being an athlete in all forms this can take. I continued with Gymnastics for 16 years, competing nationally, as well as representing Canada internationally. 5’7” in all its glory, Gymnastics was perfect for me. I then became involved in Swimming and Gymnastics, but as everyone grew taller in Swimming, it was time to specialize in the latter (lol!). I initially played soccer, but over the 3 years I was involved I didn’t score a single goal! Needless to say, I quickly discovered that any sport involving a ball was not my forte.
